It's the Small Joys
I'm like so "kilig" right now *and so konyo too* HAHA!! I got an advance birthday greeting from 2 of my bestest and closest friends and they never really fail to surprise me. Obviously, I'm the kind of person who's not so hard to impress, those little effort will already make me so happy. I was just not expecting a birthday greeting yet so I was surprised when I got a notification in my Facebook account. Kababawan I know, but that's me. Haha! Anyway 2 days to go and it's my birthday but I don't feel excited about it. Weird.

Crappy internet is crappy.
I know that the season finale of How I Met Your Mother was like four days ago and as much as I wanted to watch it immediately, I just couldn’t because of this crappy connection I have. Yes, I’m blaming my sun broadband. I tried buffering it last Tuesday but I always get this annoying error message, so I thought I have no choice but to wait for my friend to download it and get my own copy. It breaks my heart reading tweets about the finale; everyone had their fair share of comments regarding the episode. I felt like a loser sitting in front of my monitor feeling clueless of what had happened. I even got upset when I saw a friend in Instagram post picture of who the bride was. Oh, that bitch. I really hate spoilers. Anyways, I already have the idea of who the bride was, and actually even at the start of the season I already have a hint that it was her, it must be her :’)
So earlier today I tried my luck and started buffering the finale and with much happiness, yes I was able to watch and finish the whole episode. One thing’s for sure, the season finale was a big cliffhanger. I was like asdfghjkl.
So Robin was the bride, but what about Quinn? What about the super cute magic proposal? What happens to Ted and Victoria? All these questions in my mind made me feel more excited for the next season. I just can’t wait much longer.
HIMYM is without a doubt the funniest comedy show ever, well atleast for me. I’ve watched every episode since day one and I instantly fell in love with it as well as the characters in this series. This is one comedy show not to be missed. This is my favorite series that I never missed a single episode, next to One Tree Hill of course. I’m pretty sure that when HIMYM ends, I’ll be one of the viewers that will cry and miss the friendship of Lily, Marshall, Ted, Robin and Barney, yes especially this classical player Barney :-)

A little inspiration.
I’ve came across an old book of my brother entitled “The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren. Way back my high school days, when he used to fetch me after school, I already took a hold of this book and I used to read it while on our way home. But I was not able to finish reading it because maybe I was still a little immature that time and didn’t have that deep sense of understanding about life. After how many years I found this book again in their bookshelves and I thought I might give it a second try and this time I must be able to complete the 40-day spiritual journey. I am very much grateful that I brought this book with me. The book is so well written that even the first few paragraphs already struck me; it made great impact in my perspective about life.
One thing I learned from this book is that “You are not an accident,” which is explained thoroughly in the second chapter. God prescribed every detail of our life; He planned the days of our life in advance. He left no detail to chance and He planned it all for his purpose.
One afternoon a friend sent this message through text: “Don’t run ahead of God, let Him direct your steps. He has plans and He has time. God’s clock is never early nor late. It always strikes on time.” I read the text over and over again and it realized that it actually relates to the message of that Chapter in the book. This only proves that even the smallest thing that happened to us is part of his plan; even a simple text message. It was God’s way of reminding me not to lose hope on whatever it is that I’m going through. I just have to believe in God’s plan for me. And whenever I feel down and about to give up, I must hold on to this thought because yes, it actually helps. So, thy will be done Lord.

The “I miss you” feeling
It has been a few months already that I’ve been getting this feeling; feelings where all I can think about is that one person that makes me smile continuously. The feeling of what he’s doing and how he’s doing without me by his side. It even left me wondering if he misses me, the way I am missing him. It always comes to a point wherein I regret the things that I’ve done in my past. I have this tendency to take for granted the people who cares for me, the people who show their love for me. I can’t seem to reciprocate their actions and intentions which give them the feeling that I don’t like them at all. With the way I treat them, I can’t expect them to stick by me forever and thus the feeling of regret taking over me. So here I am again, wishing to take back the time and wanting to have a second chance to correct the mistakes that I have done, if only I could. I hate the “I miss you” feeling, it’s just so hard for me to handle. But then again that’s reality. I can’t deny the fact that I miss the way we used to be. I miss your good morning and good night text. I miss how you flood me with your text if it took me a while to reply. I miss your phone calls. I miss our movie dates. I miss how you always made time for me. I miss you. I miss us. It is just so sad that we meet someone who means a lot to us, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go. But how am I supposed to let go and move on when every time I see you, I fall that much harder. I know that I can’t stay like this forever, I can’t be sad until the rest of my life and let the past haunt me. Time must come that I have to get rid of the old feelings to make room for the new ones.

Life's a BEACH.
No doubt, summer is finally here and enjoying summer holidays on the beach is something I look forward to. With these kind of temperature, a family trip to the beach is very much welcome. Lately, I’ve been fantasizing about where I can spend my summer. As much as I wanted to go to the famous summer destination such as Bora or Palawan, I know I couldn’t just yet because I don’t have the luxury to spend that much money. The most convenient beach resort we had that time was at Portofino Cebu.
It sure was a great day to spend a not-so-lazy-weekday at the beach. It was also my Kuya's birthday that time which gave us another reason to celebrate :D
Just the smell of summer can make me fall in love. I really can't swim but I am just in love with the beach.
The fine powdery white sand, crystal clear water and spectacular sunsets - - it’s just so breathtaking :) |

4IS-B Family
"School is stupid, horrible and a pain in the butt. I hate school, but in that place you hear a lot of funny things that help you get through the day." This video presentation was shown during the Meet the Parents. I can't help but get teary-eyed. Bittersweet memories with the people whom I spend my entire college life with. It's very heart-breaking to think that it's time we go our separate ways. I will definitely miss my 4IS-B family.

Guilty
A friend shared the link of this video and I actually cared to watch and finish this despite the fact that I have a slow internet connection here. When you read the title, you know it isn’t appropriate. Being a Filipino, I’m sure you will be disappointed with this. But upon watching the whole video I realized that what the guy is talking about is actually true. I know that this will be a big issue; I'm expecting a lot of violent reactions for this guy. But come to think of it, the things he shared are true and actually happening in our country. I know it’s sad to hear all this stuff but hello it is reality. A sad reality indeed. I hope this will serve as an eye-opener for us Filipinos. We must not tolerate the negative feedbacks that we receive from foreigners. It’s time we do something about this. Just saying though :)
