Comparisons

Last night (December 16) All Thomasians and non-thomasians gathered again for the annual Paskuhan Festives. Ofcourse the fireworks display is one of the highlight of the event.

This year's pyromusical show. It lasted for 7 minutes.

VS.
 Last year's Fireworks Display

No doubt, last year's fireworks display was more extravagant and more colorful. And yes, I enjoyed more the celebration last year cause of the bands, surprise guests and all. I can't help but compare the two, but still I had fun this Paskuhan 2011. And it was my last Paskuhan as a student of UST so I had to make the most of it.

PS: the after-party at Flight, Tomas Morato was awesome. Met new friends there :>

It's with the people you are with :>

I was not fully satisfied with the fieldtrip we had in Cebu and Bohol for some reasons that I don’t wanna elaborate more. The trip was so-so; it had some good points and some bad points as well. But I don’t wanna ruin my mood and the trip, so I just took advantage of the time to create new memories with the people I love, my 4ISB family.

Thanks to these people, I still managed to enjoy the trip and shared fun memories together.

SEMBREAK Lovin'

Last sem was a sure pain in the ass. We all experienced different kinds of stress regarding school works and deadlines. That’s why during those times I was looking forward for a sweet escape, a month long semestral break.

October 15 was my most awaited day. It was my flight back to my hometown, Tacloban/Tanauan :) To sum it all up, I HAD THE BEST SEMBREAK. EVER! It was the best and the longest too.

There’s really no other place like home <3

We spent every Sunday at Robinsons for a family bonding right after hearing mass. It was also our time to buy grocery items.

No doubt, I love family day :)

Aside from family, I also had the chance to catch up with my favorite people, my high school friends of course. We really missed each other since we seldom get the chance to have a get together.

I might know a lot of people and might mingle with everybody everyday, it's still my family and real friends that truly matter, and I'm so lucky to have them in my life.

My 3am thoughts

The feeling of having someone who gives you butterflies in your stomach every time you think about them, for me it’s one of the best feelings in the world.  Those late night conversations wherein you talk about almost everything and no matter how sleepy you both are, you don’t wanna go to sleep yet. The moment you wake up the next morning seeing unread messages or even missed calls. The feeling of having someone so-called “special” in your life. The feeling of being appreciated, being loved and being wanted. The feeling of finally being happy again. How I wish these feelings lasts forever. Wishful thinking, I know. Because reality check, nothing lasts forever. It sure won’t be easy, in fact it will be really really really hard. There will be days where he will never leave your mind. Days where all you do is think about him. Days where you will ask yourself, what went wrong? Days where you just wanna cry your heart out. And even days where you find yourself feeling crazy, lonely. I guess that’s just how life is. Love and pain always go hand in hand. One day you find yourself head over heels in love and the next day you find yourself crying your heart out over a break-up.  Nobody said it will be easy, but that should not be a reason to give up on love and be hopeless. I know one day I’ll get through this. This too shall pass. What is important is that I've taken chances and I learned my lessons well. And all I can say is that I am so much stronger now.

Story of my life.

I’m the kind of girl who is quiet in large groups or around people I don’t know; you only see the real me if we’re close. I smile and laugh a lot, especially at the most inappropriate times. I’m a hopeless romantic. I trip over air, up stairs, and over people’s feet. I am the hardest person to offend, but it is all too easy to make me feel horrible. I hate telling people about my problems; they don’t need to worry about me. I’m the one who listens to other people’s problems. I believe people should not be judged before one takes the time to get to know them, yet I am guilty of doing that exact thing. I love to think rather than talk. I’m awkward, clumsy, shy, strange… but this is me. Take it or leave it.

so far, so good

I hope the best things happen in September.

And yes, so far so good. I posted this as a status in my facebook on the first day of September.

Luckily, it was really a fresh start. I made peace with someone whom I haven’t talked to for like 2 months. I also had a good conversation with my closest college friends and I had a lot of realizations. Realizations that hopefully will help me become a better friend/person.

September 2, 2011 was also one of the happiest nights of GFs. It was our first time being complete, and drinking on a Friday night. It was such a rare sight since most of my friends have strict parents and won’t be allowed to stay out late at night.

And just like what my status says, I hope that September will bring nothing but pure good vibes. Good vibes all the way please. I know it’s still early to tell, but I want to make the most out of it. Plus it’s BER-months already, the countdown to my favorite holiday starts. 113 days to go before Christmas. Oh, how time flies. And just like that March is already around the corner. 6 months, that soon.

I OWE THE WORLD MY STORY.

Stories to tell

August 21, 2011 was the Engineering Acquaintance Party slash Dance Revolution. My friends and I decided to finally attend the said event since it will be our last year in school. We also supported our very own ISyS Dance Troupe, who by the way won 2nd runner up. Yeyy!! Congrats ISyS :))

I have very pretty girls :)

GF's taking a pose while waiting for the next dance

                                                Photo-booth :)
There was a very big delay and experienced some technical difficulties but Dare 2 was fun. We enjoyed watching all the performances and it was a wonderful experience with my friends. The theme was actually Wet&&Wild but my GF's and I being pasaway didn't follow the dress code. I opted to wear something "UNPREDICTABLE" since my sister told me so :)

There you go. My outfit for the night. A cute dress paired with a pink snickers.
Dared to be different and make a statement =)

We didn't wait for the announcement of the winners and for the open bar since we didn't want to get all wet. Instead, we had our own after party at Tides which we all had different stories and experience to tell.

Tides - - The place to be :))
                                          Girls Night Out!!
                                          And boys too :))

It was an Epic night! What happened at Tides was very rare and it was not planned at all. I had too much drinks that night and the rest is history =)) We'll surely go back to his night, reminisce and laugh our ass out of every details of what occurred in this night. It will be one of my memorable day/night with 4ISB friends :))
